To Our Shores

To Our Shores is a project that will help to create, curate and celebrate the stories, hopes and dreams of new New Zealanders.  The overarching goal is to use literature and art to open the doors to greater understanding, empathy and inspiration for the broader community.   Mātātuhi Foundation’s seed funding will help to support phase one of the project which involves writing workshops and one-on-one mentoring sessions with migrants settling in the greater Rotorua area.   The culmination of this project will be exhibitions and the publication of a To Our Shores anthology.
