Kiwi Christmas Books

We believe in the power of stories, and in the power of giving. 

Kiwi Christmas Books collects brand new books to gift to Kiwi kids doing it tough at Christmas — those young people using the services of the City Missions, the Women’s Refuges, and other great charities around the country.

We began in Auckland in 2019, and in 2020 we are going nationwide, with bookshops and charities onboard in 10 different towns and cities around New Zealand.

We ask for donations of books by New Zealand-based authors and illustrators where possible, supporting both our local artists and writers as well as children in need.
