Research into initiatives promoting local authors and books

The Coalition for Books is carrying out a research project to investigate initiatives from around the world that have successfully re-ignited an interest in local authors and books. This project will draw on the international evidence base to identify key lessons for Aotearoa’s literary sector. The findings will assist the book industry in developing collaborative and coordinated initiatives to increase the readership of New Zealand books and authors, by building on tried-and-tested approaches.
