Re-Draft Writing Competition for Teenagers

The Afterlife of an Ice Cream Wrapper is the latest collection of top teenage writing, drawn from the national Re-Draft Writing Competition. With the support of the Mātātuhi Foundation, award-winning judges James Norcliffe and Michelle Elvy will select the winning work for the 2023 collection. Around 90 winners will then have the opportunity of working with the judges and editors at Clerestory Press, to re-draft their work before it is published in a collectible book.

The competition is open to teenagers throughout Aotearoa New Zealand, and Mātātuhi Foundation funding helps to spread the word.
