Giving a voice to those experiencing social housing
Landing Press is a small not-for-profit Wellington publisher of poetry that includes voices not often heard. In 2021, we are publishing a collection of poems and short prose about housing. As with our previous anthologies, we ask for submissions nationwide but also create a lot of work for the book through workshops and individual mentoring. For this book, we are working closely with the social housing sector. This grant will allow us to cover costs of tutoring/mentoring and travel, and also some community events. For a small publisher with a big vision, this makes a huge difference to us.
