Free webinar series for emerging writers on short-fiction writing skills
As one of the longest-running and most prestigious writing competitions in New Zealand, The Sunday Star-Times Short Story Awards has not only been an effective launch pad for many local writers, but it has also helped to raise the profile of New Zealand writers with New Zealand readers. To continue that tradition, the Mātātuhi Foundation grant will help fund a series of Free writers webinars to develop short-fiction writing skills in emerging writers of all ages as a pathway to future entries.
